10.00am – 11.00am Smart Casual

Gender equity and inclusion are core goals for ASI, but they require action from individuals. To discuss what we as individuals can do to support these goals, we are having a session during morning tea on the first morning of the Annual Meeting. We will give attendees practical tips on how to support gender equity, with a focus on how men can make a difference in our community.

The session will be led by Prof Karen Farquharson (University of Melbourne), an expert diversity and inclusion practices. Prof Farquharson will introduce us to why gender equity and inclusion are important goals in our profession and community, and work through evidence-based, practical tips on how to achieve these goals.

All are welcome- expect great advice on the best practices in equity and diversity. We hope you can put these tips into action during the Annual Meeting and beyond.
